We were today given the great news that the 2025 Bristol Fireworks Fiesta had delivered a massive profit which would help support the charity work of the two clubs.
The Rotary Club of Clifton and the Bristol Round Table once again jointly set the November Bristol evening alight with a magnificent pyrotechnic extravaganza by Skyburst, one of the country's leading fireworks display companies.They lived up to their reputation in delivering a program of vivid sights and sounds that enthralled the 8,000 spectators in Canford Park
A number of food outlets helped provided sustanance throughout the evening which ended with a fun Foam Party provided by Party Peeps.
The purpose of holding such an event is to raise funds mainly for local charities and organisations including the Lord Mayor's Christmas Childrens Appeal.
Some £60,000 was generated and the LMCCA will receive £6000 to help the charity distribute food, money and gifts to many local children who live in most impoverished circumstances in our city.
The Rotary and Round Table clubs will each receive £25,000 to boost their charity funds in supporting mainly local but also international charities in such ways as disaster relief, the fight against poverty and health issues, and education in poor countries.
