Ruth Bolgar was the winner of the coveted Brucie Cup (the trophy named after our beloved Bruce Simmonds) with an outstanding performance on the skittles alley.
Equally outstanding, Shirley Pendergast was the worthy winner of our blindfold skittles event which involves players trying to knock down as many skittles as possible whilst wearing a blindfold over their eyes.
Our final winner of the evening was Brian Gibbons who won the Killer Competition. Each player has to throw one ball and if they fail to knock down a skittles, they are “killed” and drop out. Brian’s innovative throwing action which involves facing the wrong way and throwing the ball between his legs proved to be unbeatable.
