With the support of District 2790 in Japan and The Rotary Club of Clifton, Rei gained a master's degree in International Relations at the University of Bristol and went on to complete her PhD in London. Since then Rei has been busy, teaching English in London, travelling widely to conferences and now teaching at the University of Tokyo. Rei has also played a significant part in encouraging other students to join Rotary and seek sponsorship to study abroad.
Rei is enormously grateful for the support and experience provided by our Club. She is pictured speaking to her Rotary District and at the University where she talked about her experiences in the UK including meeting members of our Club.
Rei attended several Club lunches, including Christmas Lunch. On her most recent visit, Rei was accompanied by her husband, whom she met at Bristol University. Rei was of great help when we were visited by the students from Oklahoma University.
We wish her continued success and look forward to hearing of her future adventures.
