Welcome, welcome, welcome to three new members

Thursday 1st December 2022

Chika Muodiebere (seen above on the right next to Jeremy Floyd, membership committee) was born and brought up in Nigeria. She travelled extensively in Africa and only relatively recently moved to Bristol to study at UWE. Prior to leaving Nigeria  she worked with the British Council for 7 years and, during this time, studied and obtained a degree in Performing Arts and some experience of working as a support worker in residential care.

She has now graduated at UWE with a Masters degree in International Management and hopes to find a position as an Executive Customer Representitive or Project Manager working for a reputable global organisation.

She has a strong passion for Humanitarian Aid and hence her committment in joining Rotary. She wants to help feed under-nourished children, especially those in under-developed countries.

Anup and Jayasri Chaudhuri (seen above on the left) recently moved from the West Midlands where they were previously members of Walsall Sadlers Rotary Club. Jay was club president last year and we believe their old club's loss will be our gain as we understand that they are committed Rotarians looking forward to participatingfully and fully integrating into life in Bristol. Both are retired, Anup was a GP and Jay a mangement consultant, so both are obviously talented people that we may expect to import some great ideas from.
